Pre-school
Açı Pre-School after school activities program consists of a series of activities designed to contribute to the physical, spiritual and mental development of young students, to discover their individual differences and abilities early on and to feed their existing or developing interests. These activities, which are offered in art, sports and music fields, form the basis of the student’s choices and life experiences not only in primary school but also later in life. Students selecting sports activities take part in school teams in the primary school years in line with their interests and abilities, and get a chance to work and compete in a competitive environment. Activities such as Aikido, Gymnastics, Basketball, Pilates and Ballet, Mind Games, Chess, Piano are carried out in the after school hours or on weekends within the Açı Music School and Açı Sports School.
Primary School
In grades 1st-4th, we have a rotating activity schedule so students can choose the field they are inclined to. Activities last 2 lessons per week. According to their class and section, students are divided into 2 groups as “Rotation Groups” and “Presentation Groups”. Students in the rotation groups; During the first semester, the rotation groups alternate between sports, chess, science and crafts activities, while the presentation groups prepare a joint theatrical presentation as dance, drama and music activity groups and present it at the end of the semester. Rotation groups rotate between activities once every 4-5 weeks, but presentation groups remain in the same activity throughout the whole semester. In the 2nd semester, students of the presentation group transfer to the rotational activities and the students in the activity classes transfer to the presentation group. Thus, students of each grade take part both in the presentation group and the rotational activity group during the year.
Rotational Activities: Dance, Handicrafts, Drama, Sports, Music, Chess, Science and Technology, Go, DI, Magazine

This learning process is not limited only to the implementation of the information obtained in the classroom to the daily life. ALE, goes beyond the classroom learning with its social responsibility projects and clubs; it also creates learning opportunities for music and art experience which has a major share in the culture of living, as well as for communication and human relationships that change rapidly due to the influence of technology.
