Gökben Baykal graduated from Boğaziçi University’s Chemistry Teaching program. She completed her master’s degree in “Curriculum and Instruction” at Yıldız Technical University. She has also completed certificate programs at Harvard Graduate School of Education in “Making Learning Visible” and “Media and Technology in Education.” In addition to these, she has participated in numerous professional development programs.

Between 1999 and 2003, she worked as a chemistry teacher at various institutions. From 2003 to 2009, she taught chemistry and science at Yüzyıl Işıl Schools. Since 2009, she has been working at Açı Schools. During her time here, she has held various roles, including science teacher, science department coordinator, and assistant academic coordinator. Since the 2023-2024 academic year, she has been serving as the Academic Coordinator at Açı Schools.
