Cansu Şipal Erdoğan, a graduate of Boğaziçi University with a degree in Primary Education Science Teaching and a minor in Primary Education Mathematics Teaching, became acquainted with Açı Schools in July 2007. 4. After serving as a 4th-grade science-mathematics teacher and team leader, she worked for 3 years as the educational coordinator at the middle school level. During her time in middle school, she taught science at various grade levels. Since 2016, she has been serving as the assistant principal at Sarıyer Açı Middle School.
