Admission

Admission Process

At Açı Schools, we value each student’s individual differences and learning journey. Our enrolment process is designed with a transparent and fair approach that aims to make the best use of our students’ talents, interests and potential. We aim to provide a learning environment that supports the academic, social and personal development of our students by establishing a strong collaboration with families who embrace our educational philosophy.

Individual Meetings

You can attend the introductory meetings we organize throughout the year to get to know Açı Schools better and to learn more about our educational approach and the opportunities we offer. You can also schedule an online or face-to-face meeting with our school administrators to discuss your questions.

Quotas

Registrations are carried out according to the quotas determined by Açı Schools. In line with our principle of maintaining transparent and supportive communication throughout the enrollment process, if the applied grade level is fully enrolled, prospective parents are informed accordingly. They are encouraged to contact the school again after the “Re-enrollment” period concludes to stay updated on quota changes and possible enrollment opportunities.

Re-enrollment

At Açı Schools, we expect all students, whether newly enrolled or re-enrolled, to align with our “What Kind of Student?” philosophy, which forms the foundation of our educational approach. This philosophy reflects our commitment to nurturing students who are eager to learn, curious, responsible, and socially and emotionally well-rounded.

In line with our principles of equity and fairness, we do not accept specific requests from parents or third parties regarding student placements, such as teacher or classmate preferences. To best support students’ academic and social development, classroom placements and teacher assignments are carefully planned by our educational staff based on pedagogical and organizational considerations.

What Kind of Student?

At Açı Schools, we value not only academic growth but also the social and emotional development of our students. Our answer to the question “What kind of student?” reflects our goal of raising individuals who are responsible, open to learning, and committed to contributing positively to society.

1. Academic Curiosity and Love of Learning

We aim for our students to be curious, inquisitive, and passionate about learning. Asking questions, exploring, and acquiring new knowledge are essential parts of our learning process.

2. Responsibility and Self-Discipline

We encourage students to fulfill their responsibilities, manage their learning processes, and take determined steps toward their goals.

3. Communication and Collaboration

We value students who can express their thoughts clearly, listen to others, and respect different perspectives. Students who collaborate and work well in teams are also more successful in social life.

4. Ethical Values and Sensitivity

Our goal is to raise students who embody universal values such as honesty, fairness, respect, and responsibility while remaining socially conscious and respectful toward others and the environment.

5. Flexibility and Resilience

Students who can adapt to changes, persist through challenges, and learn from their mistakes are more likely to succeed in all areas of life. Understanding that mistakes are learning opportunities fosters continuous growth.

These qualities are fundamental to supporting our students’ academic and personal development. Our mission is to raise not only academically successful individuals but also lifelong learners who are self-confident, creative, and socially responsible.
