Zeynep Gençer Güven, a 2011 graduate of Açı High School, enrolled in the French Language Teaching Department at Marmara University. In addition to this major, she completed a double major in English Language Teaching and graduated as the top student in 2016. During the 2013-2014 academic year, Zeynep spent part of her studies at the Université de Rouen through the Erasmus program. In her final year of university, she interned at schools such as St. Joseph French High School, Galatasaray Primary School, and Işık Schools.
Immediately after graduation, Zeynep began her teaching career at Açı Middle School, where she had the opportunity to work with her teachers as her colleagues and learnt from their experience. She gained valuable experience as an English teacher in the middle school level for four years. After getting married in 2018, she left Açı Middle School to work at various private schools in the primary education level.
In November 2021, Zeynep gave birth to her son, Doğu, and is currently living in Tallinn, Estonia. Starting in the 2023-2024 academic year, Zeynep began working at Tallinn European School. We wish Zeynep continued success in her new life and career!
