Lal Koyuncu, a 2012 graduate of Açı High School, completed her Psychology degree at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where she conducted research on language acquisition in babies as part of the Co-op program. After finishing her undergraduate studies, she completed her Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Her research thesis focused on the effects of pregnancy on the human brain. For the past four years, she has been working as a psychologist at Stichting REACH Holland, an organization that serves children with autism. In the past year, Lal has also been continuing her education in pregnancy and birth psychotherapy at Istanbul Birth Academy. We wish our dear graduate, Lal, every success in her new field of expertise.
