Açı Schools’ Human Resources Policy
All the academic and administrative personnel in Açı family and all the prospective members are expected to be honest, patient, productive individuals who show respect to diversity and individual differences. They are also expected to be research-oriented, inquisitive, innovative, cooperative and have the ability to improve themselves within a creative school environment while internalizing Açı vision and mission.
The Recruitment Process in Açı Schools
Every year job advertisements are announced via newspapers and Websites in accordance with staff requirements and evaluation of applications begins over the Website.
The first interview is held by Human Resources Department. The second interview is conducted with the Academic Coordinator, School Principal / Vice Principal or Department Coordinator. The process is concluded with the delivery of a demo lesson by the candidate teacher.
Candidates for academic staff need to have graduated from relevant departments for the required position.
Teachers who are not graduates of a faculty of education must have finished a pedagogical formation program. Knowledge of English as a second language is preferable.
Açı Schools include members from the US, England, Canada, Australia, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands and Switzerland as well as Turkish citizens.
